Flower/Truss Description:  Flower tubular-campanulate, approximately 1½" across and 2" long, waxy, strong red. Lax truss holds up to 5 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Early to Early Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves broadly elliptic, about 2" long, blue-green above, deep chocolate purple below. Habit and leaf resemble R. neriiflorum.

Height:  2 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  5°F  ( -15°C)
