Predominant Flower Color:  Red

Flower/Truss Description:  Flower funnel-shaped, about 2" across, bright orange-scarlet with darker spots deep in the throat. Loose truss holds 9-14 flowers. Several different clones are sold in the trade.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Late

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves narrowly elliptic, twisted, 3⅓" to 5" long, dull, dark green, with brown, felted indumentum below. Upright, dense growth habit. Needs protection from sun.

Height:  6 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  10°F  ( -12°C)
