Predominant Flower Color:  Purple

Flower/Truss Description:  Flower widely funnel-shaped, 2" across, wavy to frilly lobes, vivid violet with brownish-orange anthers. Held in terminal clusters composed of 4-5 trusses each with 5-6 flowers.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Early

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves near elliptic to wider than lanceolate, concave, acute, cuneate, about 1½" long, dull, dark yellowish-green, retained 2 years. Round, well-branched shrub.

Height:  3 feet in 10 years.
