Flower/Truss Description:  Flower openly funnel-shaped, frilly edges, 2¾" across, deep red with pale yellow-green streaks on dorsal lobe. Held in ball-shaped trusses of 15 to 18.

Fragrant:  No

Bloom Time:  Midseason

Foliage Description / Plant Habit:  Leaves elliptic, concave, acute apex, cuneate base, 7" long, glossy, dark green, retained 2-3 years. Plant habit upright, and spreading, somewhat open.

Height:  2 feet in 10 years.

Cold Hardiness Temp:  -25°F  ( -32°C)
