 Flower openly funnel-shaped, wavy edges, 2¾" across, purple at edges shading to very pale purple in throat with red spotted blotch , outside with purplish-red veins along mid ribs. Ball-shaped trusses of 18 flowers.

 Leaves elliptic, flat, broadly acute apex, rounded base, 5" long, dull, olive green, retained 2 years. Dense grower.
