 Flower broadly funnel-shaped, 3⅛" across, wavy-edged, vivid purple, prominent, dark red, densely speckled blotch extending from the base to more than half way up the dorsal lobe. Ball-shaped truss has 15 flowers.

 Leaves elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, 4" long, upcurved margins, semi-glossy, moderate olive green. Intermediate plant habit.
