 Flower openly funnel-shaped, up to 4½" across, bright vermilion paling to a bright soft rose on the lower part of the flower, outside slightly orange. Held in loose trusses of about 14 flowers.

 Leaves oblong-elliptic, 7" long, thin brown hairs below and hairy stems. Leggy habit requires pruning.
