Instructions:
- Anyone may order available seed, both ARS
members and non-members.
- All seed packets are FREE.
Postage and other expense charge is $4.00 (US dollars) per order.
- The minimum order is 20 seed packets.
(Exception: Contributors and Seed Exchange Committee members and consultants can
order any amount and if this is less than 20, postage and other
expenses is $4.00.)
- Please list your seed choices in NUMERIC ORDER.
- You may select as many packets of a seed lot as
desired - i.e., Lot #12 - 10 packets.
- If we are out of a desired seed lot, we will
send substitutes.
- ARS member's orders from within the USA (payment
choice # 6) please no payment with seed order. Please send payment
only after seed is received. No cash please. Check should be
made out to: ARS Seed Exchange.
- ARS members orders from outside the USA:
Danish
chapter members: if you pay your treasurer, please
indicate "Bill Danish Chapter" on your order (payment choice # 1).
Swedish
chapter members: if you pay your treasurer, please
indicate "Bill Swedish Chapter" on your order (payment choice # 2).
Scottish chapter members: if you pay your treasurer, please
indicate "Scottish Chapter" on your order (payment choice # 3). Simultaneously
send your chapter a cheque or money order or cash for the full amount of the
seed ordered at the same time as you submit your order to the seed exchange.
Any difference in final cost of the seed supplied by the exchange could be
refunded to U.K. Members by the Chapter, or in the case of their Overseas
Members be credited to their account. All payments to the
treasurer of the Scottish chapter are to be in sterling and cheques to be at the
exchange rate of US $1.35 to the pound. The Scottish Chapter reserves the
right to amend this rate of exchange to take account of any major changes in the
foreign currency markets during the year to 31st December, 2009.

- Non-chapter ARS member's (payment choice # 4): please pay upon
receipt of seed. If payment
is by postal money order please add $3.00 to the total cost.
(Exception, contributors pay no additional fee.) This is the amount of the
bank fee charged the Exchange.
- Credit Card Payment via the Fax Method
(payment choice # 5)
1. You must be a member of the ARS to pay by credit card.
2. The fax method, is the only way that we can accept credit cards.
3. There is a $10.00 handling fee for the fax method. Fee is automatically
added to your bill.
4. Fax method steps:
a. Tell us that you choose to pay via the fax method.
b. We will send you a "Fax Form" via e-mail for you to print and fill
in. The fax number of our
executive director, Laura Grant, will be on
the form. Please fill in all the required information,
sign the form and fax to Laura.
- Non ARS (payment choice # 7): Upon notification of
the amount due, you are to send the exchange payment in full. We will dispatch your completed
order when this payment is received.
- Bank Wire: (payment choice #8).
There is an additional charge of $10.00 (needed to cover The Exchange's bank
fees). You will be emailed full details if your choice for payment is #8.
