Elepidote Rhododendron: 'Nancy Evans' Flower light yellow with some early orange shading on lobes and reverse, orange-red buds, hose-in-hose, openly funnel-shaped, wavy lobes, 2½" across. Held in ball-shaped trusses of 19 flowers. Blooms midseason. Leaves narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 4" long, glossy, medium green, bronze colored when new. Rounded, compact plant habit. Grows to a typical height of 3 ft. in 10 yrs. Hardy to 5°F (-15°C). Hybridized by Brockenbrough. |

Lepidote Rhododendron: 'Seta' Flower pink and white with a paler base, the reverse darker pink, tubular-campanulate, ½" to 1" across. Blooms early. Leaves ovate or elliptic, broadly acute apex, rounded base, about 1¾" long, incised ribs, dull, dark green, retained 3 years. Upright growth habit. Grows to a typical height of 5 ft. in 10 years. Hardy to 5°F (-15°C). Hybridized by Aberconway. |

Evergreen Azalea: 'Elsie Lee' Flower light reddish purple, widely funnel-shaped, 2¼" - 2½" across, semi-double. Inflorescence 2 to 3 flowered. Blooms late midseason. Leaves broadly elliptic, acute apex, rounded base, 1½" long, glossy, moderate yellow-green, held for 2 years. Mature leaves yellowish-brown. Upright, broad habit. Grows to a typical height of 3 ft. in 10 years. Cold hardy to -15°F (-26°C). Hybridized by Shammarello. |

Deciduous Azalea: 'Irene Koster' Flower white flushed strong pink with a yellow blotch on upper lobes and brownish orange spotting, fragrant, tubular funnel-shaped, wavy edges, 2½" across. Blooms late midseason. Leaves elliptic, dark green. Upright, open plant habit. Grows to a typical height of 6 ft. in 10 years. Hardy to -15°F (-26°C). Hybridized by Koster & Sons. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 1993 |
