Vireya Rhododendron: 'Sylvia's Coral Seas'

Flower vivid reddish orange with brilliant orange yellow throat and brilliant orange yellow stripe halfway up middle of each corolla, tubular funnel-shaped, 3" across.  Flat shaped truss holds 7 to 10 flowers.  Blooms most of the year with best show in spring and fall.  Leaves elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, 3½" long, glossy, dark yellowish green.  Open plant habit.  Grows to about 4 feet in 10 years.  Hybridized by Saperstein.
