Vireya Rhododendron: R. 'Tropic Glow'

Flower golden yellow, shaded orange-red on lobes, funnel-shaped 3⅛" - 3½" across.  Truss has 4-6 flowers.  Blooms several times a year.  Leaves elliptic, 3⅛" to 4" long, with minute, scattered brown scales on young leaves.  Grows to a height of 7-8 feet in 10 years.  Hybridized by Lelliott.
