Elepidote Rhododendron: 'Yaku Prince' Flower opens purplish-pink and ages to a lighter pink, with a pale purplish-pink blotch and dark reddish-orange spots, tubular-funnel shaped, wavy lobes, 2½" across. Ball-shaped truss holds 14 flowers. Blooms late midseason. Leaves narrowly elliptic to elliptic, apiculate apex, cuneate base, 5" long, olive-green, with moderately heavy dark orange-yellow indumentum, leaves retained 3 years. Upright, rounded, well-branched growth habit. Grows to a typical height of 3 ft. in 10 years. Cold hardy to -10°F (-23°C). Hybridized by Shammarello. |

Lepidote Rhododendron: mucronulatum 'Cornell Pink' Flower pink with faint orange dorsal spots, broadly funnel-shaped, 1½" across. Inflorescence 2-3 flowered. Blooms very early. Leaf is lanceolate, 2" to 2¼" long, dark green, deciduous. Open, twiggy growth habit. Typical height: 5 ft. in 10 yrs. Plant is cold hardy to -20°F (-29°C). Raised by Skinner. |

Evergreen Azalea: 'Pleasant White' Flower white flushed pale cream on upper lobe, with no markings, openly funnel-shaped, single, 2½" across. Inflorescence 3-flowered. Blooms midseason. Leaves narrowly obovate, obtuse apex, cuneate base, 1" to 1½" long, glossy, dark yellowish-green, held for 3 years. Broad, well-branched plant habit. Grows to a typical height of 3 ft. in 10 years. Cold hardy to -10°F (-23°C). Hybridized by Girard. |

Deciduous Azalea: 'Weston's Lemon Drop' Flower pale yellow that fades with age, tubular funnel-shaped, 1¾" across, fragrant. Held in dome-shaped truss of 9 flowers. Blooms very late. Leaves obovate, broadly acute apex, cuneate base, 2" long, up curved margins, semi glossy, bluish-green, red in the fall. Mildew resistant. Open multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a rounded form. Plant grows to about 7 ft. tall in 10 years. Hardy to -35°F (-37°C). Hybridized by Mezitt. |
